In the recent years, the incidence of children kidney disease has been
increasing, in particular Children Purpura Nephropathy, which threatens children
health. So children should watch out for Purpura Nephropathy. What is Children
Purpura Nephropathy? When human body is allergic to some factors, it causes
inflammatory lesions to systemic vessels,red rash on skin, which is Purpura. If
Purpura damages kidney, it is called as Purpura Nephropathy, which may be
related with infection and allergic reaction. Before the attack of the disease,
some cases often have infection such as chlamydia,varicella and parasite,etc, of
which is a common upper respiratory tract infection(including non specific
infection or streptococcal infection). Besides, for many cases before the attack
of the disease, there is usually allergy of medicine or food such as the allergy
of antibiotic,salicylate, barbital,iodide, fish, shrimp and crabs,etc.
Purpura of Purpura Nephropathy is different from rash, which appears on front
legs, buttocks, and nearby the joint of knees and ankles with characters of
different sizes, shapes, and usually symmetry. Purpura is slightly higher above
the skin's surface and when pressed it will not fade. At the beginning, purpura
is scarlet but later it turns into dull-red, brown, which can produce a slight
itch. Besides, purpura can merge together with repeated appearance in batches,
which is accompanied with partial or diffusive edema of head,face and
eyelid,etc. Further more, a few patients can represent urticaria,angioneurotic
edema,erythema multiforme or even ulcer,necrosis,etc.
The symptoms of children patients with Purpura Nephropathy also includes
stomachache and hematochezia. Some patients may have severe stomachache of
indigitation, enterobrosis or intestinal hemorrhage. Generally, they may suffer
from arthralgia of knees, ankles, wrist or elbow. Their symptoms of kidney
damage usually represents 2 weeks to 2 months after purpura including blood
urine,oliguria,edema or Hypertension.
All Parents should watch out for Children Purpura Nephropathy. Once children
is suspected to catch Purpura, they should be sent to hospital to have a check
or receive positive treatment to avoid delaying the condition or blind
treatment, otherwise it will affect the patients prognosis.
