For patients with Kidney Disease, they always have like high blood pressure,
high creatinine, low hemoglobin, and Anemia etc. In the following I will talk
some things about why patients present these things, but different illness
condition has different reasons.
1. Creatinine is higher than the normal level, that means the glomeruli get
damaged. The main function of glomeruli is like a filter, the nutrition
substances are abstracted from the blood, and the waste product are discharge
into the initial urine. A lot of Protein should be maintained in the human body,
only a small protein should be discharged into urine. However, the glomeruli get
damaged, especially the bore diameter get damaged, the bore diameter become more
and more big, a lot of protein are leakage into the initial urine. Therefore,
you present foam in urine and high creatinine. (which represent protein in
urine).
And Urea has the same principle as the protein in the urine.
2. And the high blood pressure is caused by the kidney damaged, especially
the hyperfunction of renin- Angiotensin, which lead to increase the blood
pressure. Therefore, the treatment for patient is to solve the problems of
hyperfunction of renin- Angiotensin. And the dizzy is also caused by kidney
damage, then lead to high blood pressure, which accompany with dizzy.
Anemia is because the kidneys get damaged; especially your kidneys can't
secret the EPO which can produce the red blood. Because body lack of red blood,
muscle can't get enough nutrition substance, so the patient always feels
fatigue, lack of strength.
3. And the reason why patients have swelling,enuresis is that the kidneys get
damaged, especially the renal tubules get damaged. The main function of renal
tubules is to re-absorption the useful things from initial urine, and gets rid
of the waste things into the urine. If the renal tubules get damaged, the
water/liquid can’t get rid of from the urine, so they begin to go into human
body. Some patients begin to present swelling in eyelid, then leg, foot etc. And
because of the renal tubules get damaged, so they need long time to work, the
urine which should be discharge in the daytime, now it is discharged at
night.
However, because of the renal tubules get damaged, so the useful product like
protein can't re-absorption into human body, and the waste product like liquid
can't discharge into urine, more and more liquid go into the human body,like
eyelid,chest,heart,liver. So patients present difficult in
breath,hydrothorax,Pleural effusion,Pericardial effusion etc.
