Chronic Glomerularnephritis is not an independent disease, but a group of
diseases with the similar clinical symptoms. It mainly has the following
clinical symptoms.
1. Edema
Edema usually occurs in eyelids, faces and low limbs. Generally, the patients
only have mild or moderate edema. However, some patients may have systemic edema
and even ascites.
2. Abnormal urine
Most of the patients with Chronic Glomerularnephritis have protein or/and
blood cells in urine. However, some patients only have mild urine abnormality
and even do not have. The amount of protein and blood in urine do not parallel
with disease severity. Therefore, having no proteinuria or hematuria does not
mean you do not have any kidney damage.
3. High blood pressure
In most cases, the patients with Chronic Glomerularnephritis are accompanied
with high blood pressure, which can aggravate the disease progression. Moreover,
serious high blood pressure even may cause acute renal failure, and even brain,
heart damage and vision damage.
4. Renal insufficiency
Serum creatinine is an important index in assessing renal function. However,
it can not reflect the renal damage sensitively. Only when the patients lose
more than half of their renal function, will the creatinine level increase.
In addition, the patients with Chronic Glomerularnephritis also have anemia,
excessive urination at noght and so on. The patients may have edema, high blood
pressure and abnormal urine at the same time, but they may only have one of
them. Some patients may have renal damage, but do not have any symptoms.
Therefore, although the incidence of Chronic Glomerularnephritis is high, many
patients can not get early diagnosis and treatment.
Therefore, if possible, all people should physical examination regularly so
as to find all diseases in the first time and receive relative treatment in
time.
