Why do people have acute glomerulonephritis?
It is always caused by infections including the respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection and other infections. Many people have found protein in urine after a cold or flu. For it develops very quickly and damage tiny blood vessels in kidney, people may suffer from acute renal failure in a short time. So for some people with low immunity, they should try their best to prevent acute glomerulonephritis. How Can We Prevent Acute Glomerulonephritis?
There are some good methods including:
1. Keep warm in winter. In a survey, it says that more people have kidney disease in winter than any other season. The low temperature leads to vasoconstriction, high blood pressure, less urine, easy coagulation, which all can cause kidney disease.
2. Take medicine following the doctors. Many people get some drugs from drugstore for their cold or infection. Experts alert that some pain killers, cold medicines etc are harmful for their kidneys. Without doctor’s direction, you may be easily to get an unsuitable drug.
3. Avoid too much protein and salt which can increase the burden of kidneys. It is known that some drinks or deli are rich of these components. If your physical condition is not good, you are suggested to keep away from these foods and drink. You had better have more vegetables and fruits.
4. Have a comprehensive test if your cold or flu reoccurs in not long time. Or if you find bubbles in urine, high blood pressure, swelling in eyelids, you are recommended to go to see a doctor.
5. Have a proper volume of water and never keep full bladder. If the urine stay in bladder for a long time, it is easy to have infection in bladder and then the kidney.
