Chief complaints: Polycystic Kidney Disease was found 34 years ago, back pain
and fatigue has got worse in the past one year. Patient was first admitted to
our hospital on the 11th of June. 2011. upon admission, suffering from serious
edema. Test results when the patient went to our hospital are listed as
followed:

Hospitalization: 4 hour duration of dialysis has been scheduled every four
days during hospitalization. After 30 days of hospitalization, patient condition
has improved greatly. Full body edema has disappeared. Blood circulations have
been increased in both kidneys. Renal intrinsic cells have been repaired, GFR
have been increased as well.
Test results before he left our hospital: No edema was found in the lower
limbs. K 4.07mmol/l; CO2 21.7mmol/l; Creatinine: 785umol/l; BUN 31.0mmol/l; URIC
404umol/l; BMG 20.38mg/L;
Doctor Suggestion:
Dialysis should be continued two times per week after discharge.
Take blood test every month to check the potassium level, avoid diet that is
high in potassium.
Keep a healthy diet with lots of vegetables and maintain at a stable
weight.
Check your blood test every month, including kidney function. As well as the
24 hour urine test on a monthly basis.
Please avoid the cold and flu and to ensure you avoid depression, please keep
positive and stay healthy.
Insist on long-term medical treatment.
